Operation Tacoma: Pasta Bridge Project Building a rigid bridge out of pasta!

Project Description

Apparently, this was not a purely personal project but was a grade 12 physics project. The biggest goal was to make the strongest bridge with minimal amount of materials. We were allowed to use any kind of pasta and the hot glue. the requirements were following : the length must span 75cm; no materials other than pasta and hot glue is permitted.

I developed a very unique method to maximize the strength of beams that were made out of spaghetti noodles. More details are on the document I posted below.

As a result, my group won the first place with outstanding data, enduring 100lbs(45kg) with only 925g of materials used! The Strength-to-Mass(ratio=Mass_endured/Mass_bridge) was the absolute highest!
